PetScreening has been on a mission to become a data-driven company using the latest technologies like Snowflake to improve user understanding, operational efficiency and identify non-compliant customers. Snowflake enabled PetScreening to integrate financial, sales/marketing and third-party data with its web application data for a more comprehensive view and deeper insights.
Lack of customer facing analytics and time-consuming manual reports stifled growth
PetScreening’s existing BI technology was unable to meet significant demand from PetScreening’s thousands of customers for real-time, self-service external reporting. Managing the manual process of sharing reports was very time consuming, if not unsustainable, for an account team in a start-up environment.
PetScreening’s customers were dissatisfied, as they wanted immediate access to insights and the ability to obtain ad-hoc reports without waiting for account managers. The specialized skills needed for new or custom reports made their existing dashboarding tool unsuitable for most of PetScreening’s customers. Moreover, the cost of providing dashboards to customers was also prohibitive.
